Cookley Cooking Kids

07/11/2023

We are overwhelmed by the support and offer of services we’ve had from the local community for phase 1 (The Build) of the Grow It, Cook It, Eat It project. A massive thank you to Lucie Roath from Cookley Sebright Primary School.

Additional special mentions for:

– Malcolm Roath, a retired structural engineer from Kidderminster who kindly volunteered to draw up the plans for the garden.

– Roady’s Landscape Services

– Cookley In Bloom

– TG Builders Merchants Ltd

– D E Talbots Transport Ltd

– Higgs LLP Solicitors’ team of volunteers who will be helping to fill the raised beds.

– The Green House People

Black Country Medics

– Paul Rawlins Wood Craft

– The Eagle, Cookley

– Community volunteers Chris Roath and Julian Lewis, who will be helping to build the raised beds and greenhouse.

..and (drumroll) the Cookley Cricket Club ‘BUILD IT’ team, for their very innovative contribution!
