AIM – To create a community fruit and vegetable grow area to encourage the young community to attend workshops to learn how to grow their own food, cook their own food and create recipes for a ‘Cookley Cooking Kids’ cookbook.
Working in partnership with Cookley Sebright Primary School and the wider Cookley Village community network, we are currently seeking funding and sponsorship to create a young community grow area on the grounds of the school. This site will be open for community access aftershool, weekends and school holiday to host of range of community workshops and activities for local children, young people and families – including intergenerational activities.
